Taman Prasasti Museum.. Jakarta's Historical Spot

March 2010… there was a shiny weekend that I’ve spent with my fiancée… he visited me for a few days and we thought that is the best moment to took around Jakarta (again). So we found a unique historical spot in central Jakarta named Taman Prasasti Museum as our destination…

After a very delicious breakfast we started the journey by motorcycled….. Lately… we realized that was a very blazing day… desperately, we spent a (very) long way since no body knows the locations until we asked Wikimapia. Ughhhh…. Sadly… I was also realized that peoples in my country worked too hard to consider historical places around us…
Those experiences gave a big result for us at the end… because we’ve finally found a very shady and comfort zone at our destination… a historical Taman Parasasti Museum…

So if you think that we’ve spent a long journey ‘only’ for a cemetery… you got wrong… because Taman Prasasti Museum is not a cemetery… it is a gravestones collections from the third century that moved from their own cemetery from all over Java. They are a witness of colonialism in my country…

Than we’ve spent the rest afternoon to enjoy the Pride…..

Glorious …

Monumental…

Mystery..

and different sense of art…

that build by peoples that comes from the past… comes from old part of other countries….
And hoping that… those pictures that taken from my fiancée will attract enough to pull you to come to… Taman Prasasti Museum…
